The Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN) baseball the visiting McMinn County Cherokees (Athens, TN), 6-2 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) in a 4A District 5 contest, on Monday, April 15. Walker Valley will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a 3-14 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN).
