Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), 7-0 in a league test.

With the win, Triton upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Hawks host Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Colts in a non-league test on Monday, April 15. The Colts come into the test with a record of 13-4.

With the defeat, Pine Forest falls to 8-11 on the season. The Trojans host Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 16. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 13-5. Terry Sanford lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)
