Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX), 5-3 in a league test.

With the win, Salado upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Eagles host Gatesville (Gatesville, TX) to battle the Hornets in a 4A Region III District 23 test on Tuesday, April 16. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 17-10. Gatesville won 17-2 in their recent league test against Connally (Waco, TX)

With the defeat, Robinson falls to 8-12 on the season. The Rockets travel to China Spring (China Spring, TX) to battle the Cougars in a 4A Region III District 23 test on Monday, April 15. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 22-4. China Spring won 17-3 in their recent non-league test against Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX)
