April 17, 2024: McConnellsburg, PA 17233 McConnellsburg Spartans (McConnellsburg, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs (Claysburg, PA), 8-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, McConnellsburg upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg, PA) to battle the Indians in a test on Thursday, April 18. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-0. Southern Fulton won 18-0 in their recent league test against Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA)
With the defeat, Claysburg-Kimmel falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Portage (Portage, PA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Monday, May 6. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 2-5.
