The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Evergreen Cougars (Evergreen, CO) and the host Northfield Nighthawks (Denver, CO), saw Evergreen's lacrosse team achieve victory over Northfield by a margin of 18-12.

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO). The Rams enter the 4A West challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Green Mountain was overwhelmed by Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO), 12-11, in a non-league challenge.
