April 12, 2024: Richmond, VA 23233 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), saw Godwin's soccer squad get by Albemarle by a margin of 2-1.
The Eagles now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Hermitage for a Colonial test on Tuesday, April 16. Godwin will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Albemarle drops to 5-1 on the season. The Patriots host Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) to encounter the Black Knights in a Jefferson test on Monday, April 15. The Black Knights come into the test with a record of 4-1. Charlottesville won 5-0 in their recent league test against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
