April 12, 2024: Danville, VA 24541 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) and the host George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA), witnessed Halifax County's softball squad prevail over George Washington by a count of 24-0.
The Comets now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Martinsville for a non-league match on Monday, April 15. Halifax County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 21-4 non-league loss to George Washington (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
