The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), saw Lake Norman Charter's lacrosse team top Northern Guilford by a margin of 16-7.

The Knights (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 15-0 record.

The Nighthawks (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings enter the Metro challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Northwest Guilford was overwhelmed by Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC), 11-5, in a non-league challenge.
