The Vernon Vikings tipped the visiting West Milford Highlanders lacrosse team by a score of 9-8 in Friday's non-league match.

With the win, Vernon upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ) to play the Golden Eagles in a Rizk match on Tuesday, April 16. The Golden Eagles go into the match with a record of 5-0. Morris Knolls won 14-1 in their recent league match against Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ)
