April 12, 2024: Altoona, WI 54720 Fall Creek Crickets (Fall Creek, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Altoona Railroaders (Altoona, WI), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Crickets now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host McDonell Central for a Cloverbelt - West challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Fall Creek will face a Macks squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Bloomer (Bloomer, WI). The Macks record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Altoona falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Railroaders host Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau (Galesville, WI) to face the Red Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15.
