Wisconsin High School Softball - Beloit Memorial holds off Waterford
April 12, 2024: Waterford, WI 53185 Beloit Memorial Purple Knights (Beloit, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Waterford Wolverines (Waterford, WI), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Purple Knights now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Janesville Craig for a Big Eight challenge on Saturday, April 13. Beloit Memorial will face a Cougars squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Middleton (Middleton, WI). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Waterford falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI) to face the Elks in a Southern Lakes challenge on Monday, April 15. The Elks enter the challenge with a record of 2-2.
