April 12, 2024: Arlington, MN 55307 Cleveland Clippers (Cleveland, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Clippers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. Cleveland will battle a Buccaneers squad coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Sibley East falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Maple River (Mapleton, MN) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Maple River lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN)
