Minnesota High School Softball - Fairmont bounces St. James
April 12, 2024: Fairmont, MN 56031 Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting St. James Saints (St. James, MN), 14-4 in a league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Peter for a South Central challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Fairmont will battle a Saints squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN). The Saints record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, St. James falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Saints host Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN) to battle the Buccaneers in a South Central challenge on Monday, April 15. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Blue Earth won 8-7 in their recent league challenge against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN)
