Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS), 8-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Munford for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16.

With the loss, Northpoint Christian falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) to battle the in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. The enter the challenge with a record of 8-13. Lake Cormorant won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS)
