Wisconsin High School Softball - Niagara holds off Pembine/Goodman
April 12, 2024: Pembine, WI 54156 Niagara Badgers (Niagara, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pembine/Goodman Panthers (Pembine, WI), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Badgers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wausaukee for a Marinette & Oconto challenge on Monday, April 15. Niagara will face a Rangers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Three Lakes/Phelps (Three Lakes, WI). The Rangers record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Pembine/Goodman falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Northland Pines lost 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hurley (Hurley, WI)
