Oregon High School Baseball - Gaston holds off Amity

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Gaston Greyhounds (Gaston, OR) and the host Amity Warriors (Amity, OR), saw Gaston's baseball team gain a win over Amity by a tally of 8-4.

The Greyhounds (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Knappa (Astoria, OR). The Loggers enter the 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Knappa held off Naselle (Naselle, WA), 6-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Warriors face the Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR) in a 3A-SD3 Special District 3 bout, on Monday, April 14. Amity will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 9-3 record after their 17-2 league win over Amity (Amity, OR).
