In Saturday's non-league bout, the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) baseball squad edged the visiting Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC), by a tally of 3-2.

Next up, the Patriots encounter the Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Apex Friendship will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 13-6 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC).

The Storm (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Pride enter the non-league bout with a 11-5 record. In their last bout, Leesville Road edged Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC), 6-2, in a league bout.
