Georgia High School Baseball - Locust Grove nips Greenville
April 12, 2025: Greenville, GA 30222 The Locust Grove Wildcats baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Greenville Patriots to 9 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.
The Wildcats now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they host Stockbridge for a AAAA Region 2 test on Monday, April 14. Locust Grove will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 5-4 league win over Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-11.
With the defeat, Greenville drops to 17-7 on the year. The Patriots host Alcovy (Covington, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-21. Alcovy lost 25-0 in their recent league match against Loganville (Loganville, GA)
