Minnesota High School Baseball - Mankato West defeats Mayo
April 12, 2025: Mankato, MN 56001 The Mankato West Scarlets baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Mayo Spartans to 4 in the Scarlets league win on Saturday.
The Scarlets now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Century for a Big 9 test on Tuesday, April 15. Mankato West will play a Panthers team coming off a 5-4 league win over Mankato East (Mankato, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Mayo drops to 2-1 on the year. The Spartans host John Marshall (Rochester, MN) to play the Rockets in a Big 9 test on Monday, April 14. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 4-1. John Marshall lost 11-10 in their recent league test against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN)
