The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN) and the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), saw Springs Valley's baseball team beat Mitchell by a margin of 12-3.

The Blackhawks (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Barr-Reeve defeated Evansville North (Evansville, IN), 5-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bluejackets face the Corydon Central Panthers (Corydon, IN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
