April 12, 2025: Nevada, MO 64772 The Nevada Tigers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Republic Tigers to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
The Tigers now hold a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bolivar for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Nevada will play a Liberators team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO). The Liberators record now stands at 9-3.
With the defeat, Republic drops to 9-8 on the year. The Tigers host Central (Springfield, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 4-4. Central won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Greenwood (Springfield, MO)
