Michigan High School Baseball - Sturgis loses to Olivet
April 12, 2025: Sturgis, MI 49091 Olivet Eagles (Olivet, MI) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI), 9-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Olivet advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Portland (Portland, MI) to battle the Raiders in a Capital Area - White match on Thursday, April 17. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 1-0.
The Trojans now have a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles for a Wolverine B match on Friday, April 18. Sturgis will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Dowagiac (Dowagiac, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.
