Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nevada Union advances its record to 25-6 on the season. The Miners travel to Del Oro (Loomis, CA) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 18-11. Del Oro lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Jesuit (Carmichael, CA)

The Trojans now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont for a West Alameda County - Foothill test on Tuesday, April 15. Castro Valley will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-16.
