April 12, 2025: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Bishop England moves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Battling Bishops travel to Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC) to clash with the Cyclones in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Cyclones come into the test with a record of 2-0. Porter-Gaud won 4-0 in their recent non-league battle against Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
Next up, the Sharks battle the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 15. St. James will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Chiefs enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC).
