April 12, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50312 Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Madrid Tigers (Madrid, IA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Roosevelt moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Perry (Perry, IA) to clash with the Bluejays in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Bluejays come into the test with a record of 1-2. Perry lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against North Polk (Alleman, IA)
The Tigers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atlantic for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Madrid will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-4.
