Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) and the host Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL), witnessed Grant Community's lacrosse squad hold off Carmel by a count of 6-5.

The Bulldogs (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Grayslake (Grayslake, IL). The Lacrosse enter the Northern Lake County contest with a 3-2 record.

Next, the Corsairs meet the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 14. Carmel will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 17-5 non-league win over Wauconda (Wauconda, IL).
