Illinois High School Lacrosse - St. Francis nips Crystal Lake South

April 12, 2025: Wheaton, IL 60187

The St. Francis Spartans lacrosse squad scored 7 points and limited the visiting Crystal Lake South Gators to 6 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montini Catholic for a Chicago Catholic - White challenge on Tuesday, April 15. St. Francis will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Crystal Lake South falls to 5-3 on the year. The Gators travel to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL) to clash with the Wolves in a Fox Valley challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
