April 12, 2025: Decorah, IA 52101 Hempstead Mustangs (Dubuque, IA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hempstead advances its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Wilton (Wilton, IA) to clash with the Beavers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Beavers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Wilton won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Davenport West (Davenport, IA)
The Vikings now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Independence for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Decorah-North Winneshiek will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Benton (Van Horne, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
