April 12, 2025: Fairbank, IA 50629 Van Meter Bulldogs (Van Meter, IA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Van Meter advances its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA) to clash with the Go-Hawks in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Go-Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-5. Waverly-Shell Rock won 4-2 in their recent league test against Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA)
The Warriors now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charles City for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Wapsie Valley will clash with a Comets team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA). The Comets record now stands at 2-3.
