Louisiana High School Softball - Sacred Heart gets by Academy of Our Lady
April 12, 2025: Ville Platte, LA 70586 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA) and the visiting Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA), observed Sacred Heart's softball team get by Academy of Our Lady by a tally of 8-7.
The Trojans (20-9) will now prepare for their bout against St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA). The go into the non-league bout with a 10-12 record. In their last bout, St. Mary's Dominican was nipped by Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA), 1-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Penguins battle the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 12. Academy of Our Lady will attempt to advance on its 7-17 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 19-6 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA).
