The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs the visiting American Fork Cavemen softball squad by a count of 9-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Gunnison Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Thunder go into the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Cedar (Cedar City, UT).

The Cavemen (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Emery (Castle Dale, UT). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Emery held off Richfield (Richfield, UT), 10-1, in a league challenge.
