April 12, 2025: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 The Prospect Knights softball squad (Mt. Prospect, IL), was routed 11-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL)
With the triumph, Lake Zurich improves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Bears host Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to face the Scouts in a North Suburban contest on Monday, April 14. The Scouts enter the contest with a record of 1-3. Lake Forest won 15-3 in their recent non-league contest against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL)
The Knights now hold a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Schaumburg for a Mid-Suburban West contest on Monday, April 14. Prospect will face a Saxons squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Saxons record now stands at 3-3.
