The Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) softball routed the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 21-3 in Saturday's league outing.

The Matadors now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eldorado for a 5A District 2 outing on Saturday, April 19. Sandia will encounter a Golden Eagles team coming off a 15-3 league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Manzano moves to 4-15 on the season. The Monarchs host Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Ravens in a non-league outing on Monday, April 14.
