Illinois High School Softball - St. Laurence bounces Oak Forest
April 12, 2025: Burbank, IL 60459 In Saturday's non-league match, the host St. Laurence Vikings softball team scored a tight 4-0 win over the Oak Forest Bengals.
The Vikings (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Friars come into the GCAC- Red match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Fenwick nipped Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL), 19-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bengals confront the Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL) in a South Suburban match, on Monday, April 14. Oak Forest will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Titans come into the match with a 4-7 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL).
