Wisconsin High School Softball - Shawano Community can't get by Wausau East
April 12, 2025: Wausau, WI 54403 The Wausau East Lumberjacks edged the visiting Shawano Community Hawks softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Lumberjacks meet the Eau Claire North Huskies (Eau Claire, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 14. Wausau East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI).
The Hawks (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Menasha (Menasha, WI). The Bluejays enter the Bay challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Menasha was nudged by Stevens Point (Stevens Point, WI), 14-1, in a non-league challenge.
