White River jumped out to an early 4-0 lead thanks to a big first inning hilighted by Ryan Bird's 2 run home run. Bird also picked up the win scattering 5 hits over four innings before being relieved by Tanner Williams who pitched the 5th. The Hornets put up a 3 spot in the 4th Zach Mcmillen drew a 1 out walk, Matt Salisbury followed with another walk, Zach Howard ground out to first base, Ryan Bird was hit by pitch to pick up an rib, Williams doubled to left picking up 2 rbi. In the 5th the Hornets got a Zach Rohrbach double, singles by Mcmillen and Salisbury and some passed balls to pick up some insurance runs.
