The Desert Vista Thunder baseball team (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 15-5 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ)

The Eagles now hold a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaparral for a 6A Desert Valley outing on Thursday, April 15. O'Connor will confront a Firebirds team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 5-5.

Next, the Thunder confront the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Central outing, on Thursday, April 15. Desert Vista will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Pride go into the outing with a 6-3 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Chandler (Chandler, AZ).
