Kentucky High School Softball - Cooper bounces Boone County
April 13, 2021: Union, KY 41091 The Cooper Jaguars routed the visiting Boone County Rebels softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Jaguars (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Lexington Catholic was routed by Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
The Rebels now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to George Rogers Clark for a non-league battle on Friday, April 16. Boone County will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-3.
