Virginia High School Baseball - Stone Bridge gets by Broad Run
April 13, 2023: Ashburn, VA 20147 Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA) and the host Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), saw Stone Bridge's baseball squad knock off Broad Run by a count of 4-2.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) in a Potomac battle, on Monday, April 17. Stone Bridge will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Dominion (Sterling, VA).
The Spartans now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Loudoun Valley for a Dulles battle on Monday, April 17. Broad Run will play a Vikings squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-6.
