Illinois High School Baseball - DeKalb loses to Metea Valley
April 13, 2023: DeKalb, IL 60115 The Metea Valley Mustangs crushed the host DeKalb Barbs baseball team by a count of 10-4 in Thursday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Geneva for a non-league bout on Friday, April 14. Metea Valley will face a Vikings team coming off a 20-13 league win over Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 6-4.
Next, the Barbs face the Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 15. DeKalb will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Timberwolves enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their 6-5 league win over Newark (Newark, IL).
