Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Punxsutawney prevails Greater Latrobe
April 13, 2023: Latrobe, PA 15650 Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), 11-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Punxsutawney upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Chucks host Karns City (Karns City, PA) to battle the Gremlins in a non-league test on Monday, April 17. The Gremlins come into the test with a record of 7-2. Karns City won 4-0 in their recent league test against Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA)
With the defeat, Greater Latrobe falls to 5-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA) to battle the Colonials in a WPIAL 4A 2 test on Monday, April 17. The Colonials come into the test with a record of 0-7. Albert Gallatin lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA)
