The Chesterton Trojans topped the host La Porte Slicers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Trojans now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Central for a IBVCA test on Monday, April 17. Chesterton will confront a Indians team coming off a 3-1 league win over Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Indians record now stands at 9-0.

The Slicers (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs enter the IBVCA test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Crown Point gained a win over Merrillville (Merrillville, IN), 3-0, in a league test.
