April 13, 2023: Norman, OK 73069 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Norman North Timberwolves (Norman, OK) and the visiting Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC), saw Norman North's soccer squad get by Pinewood Prep by a margin of 3-2.
The Timberwolves now own a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Putnam City North for a 6A District 2 game on Friday, April 14. Norman North will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mustang (Mustang, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
The Panthers (13-2) will now prepare for their game against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC). The Hurricanes go into the SCISA AAA Region II game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, First Baptist School was nudged by Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC), 4-1, in a league game.
