Tennessee High School Soccer - LaVergne knocks off Overton
April 13, 2023: Nashville, TN 37220 LaVergne Wolverines (LaVergne, TN) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Overton Bobcats (Nashville, TN), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines confront the White House Blue Devils (White House, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 14. LaVergne will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Macon County (Lafayette, TN).
The Bobcats now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Antioch for a 3A District 10 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Overton will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Glencliff (Nashville, TN). The Bears record now stands at 4-6.
