Washington High School Softball - Sehome bounces Bellingham
April 13, 2023: Bellingham, WA 98225 Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA), 23-13 in a league challenge.
The Mariners now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Sehome will face a Cubs squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Bellingham falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bayhawks travel to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA) to face the Tigers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Friday, April 14. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Burlington-Edison won 9-3 in their recent league challenge against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA)
