Washington High School Softball - Lynden bounces Nooksack Valley
April 13, 2023: Everson, WA 98247 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) and the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), witnessed Lynden's softball squad prevail over Nooksack Valley by a count of 17-6.
The Lions now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Tuesday, April 18. Lynden will face a Borderites squad coming off a 7-2 league win over Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Nooksack Valley moves to 1-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Montesano (Montesano, WA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, April 15. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 7-2. Montesano won 19-2 in their recent league match against Eatonville (Eatonville, WA)
