Washington High School Softball - Mt. Spokane nudges University
April 13, 2023: Mead, WA 99021 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA) and the visiting University Titans (Spokane, WA), saw Mt. Spokane's softball squad nip University by a count of 3-2.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mead for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane match on Friday, April 14. Mt. Spokane will face a Panthers squad coming off a 29-1 league win over North Central (Spokane, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, University moves to 4-1 on the season. The Titans host Ferris (Spokane, WA) to meet the Saxons in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle on Friday, April 14. The Saxons go into the battle with a record of 4-5. Ferris lost 17-12 in their recent league battle against Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA)
