Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), 11-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Casteel upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Colts host Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Coyotes in a 5A San Tan test on Tuesday, April 16. The Coyotes come into the test with a record of 14-9. Campo Verde won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ)

With the defeat, Apex Friendship falls to 8-10 on the season. The Patriots host Cary (Cary, NC) to battle the Imps in a Southwest Wake 4A test on Monday, April 15. The Imps come into the test with a record of 10-6. Cary won 8-4 in their recent league test against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC)
