April 13, 2024: Newark, NJ 07105 The East Side Red Raiders baseball team (Newark, NJ), was overwhelmed 7-3 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Long Branch Green Wave (Long Branch, NJ)
The Green Wave now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Rose for a Shore - B Central outing on Tuesday, April 16. Long Branch will face a Purple Roses team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Neptune (Neptune, NJ). The Purple Roses record now stands at 3-0.
Next, the Red Raiders face the East Orange Campus Jaguars (East Orange, NJ) in a SEC - Colonial outing, on Monday, April 15. East Side will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Jaguars enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Belleville (Belleville, NJ).
