Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), 6-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Musselman (Inwood, WV) to battle the Applemen in a non-league test on Saturday, April 13. The Applemen come into the test with a record of 9-7. Musselman lost 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV)

With the defeat, Hoover falls to 8-4 on the season. The Huskies travel to Poca (Poca, WV) to battle the The Dots in a Cardinal test on Tuesday, April 16. The The Dots come into the test with a record of 0-6. Poca lost 24-3 in their recent league test against Wayne (Wayne, WV)
